As expected, the Mexican food put a pound on me. I don’t care though. It was worth it!
Let’s see just how far I can take this Shock the Body experiment shall we? I think I will continue for a few more days at least.
Breakfast…Mickey waffles with Strawberry Syrup, chocolate croissants, scones with whipped butter and a tall glass of chocolate milk….NOT!
For lunch I had two grilled boneless pork ribs and some cilantro slaw
and then later on in the day I had another snack size mini bowl of slaw
Then I got on the treadmill and did 1.7 miles…I’m missing my workout buddy. She was not here today and it is HOT outside so I opted to run in the AC…
Tonight is “date night” and I’m gonna do a little more “shocking” to the body when we go to BJ’s Brewhouse. Here’s what I had:
Two of these Jeremiah Red beers
Four or five of these cheesesticks and all of the marinara sauce
One of these burgers with pickles and catsup with only the bottom bun being consumed and a handful of skinny fries.
The hubby and I went to our date night spot and I had a few more cocktails there. On the way home we stopped at McDonald’s. I was craving buffalo wings so I figured I’d get chicken nuggets. I asked the guy in the window if he had Buffalo sauce for the nuggets and he said no so I asked him to list the sauces he did have. “Sweet & Sour”, “Hot Mustard”, “BBQ”, “Ranch”,….”Boofalow”. Freaking Boofalow. Yeah dummy…that’s the sauce I want give me some chicken nuggets and boo-fa-low sauce. Do I want fries with that? Yeah…I still have some shake to lose but I’ll take a small fry with that. I ended up only eating 9 of the nuggets and like 10 french fries. Sorry for the pic. You get the picture.
