Yeah…so last night I consumed some MAJOR items off the diet menu. Fried Cheesesticks, mini burger, beer, cocktails, chicken nuggets and french fries and guess what. I lost freaking weight. Granted it was only -0.2, but it just doesn’t make sense. I’m gonna chalk it up to de-hy-dration. That’s the only sane response!!!
Last night my buddy, who is also a bartender where we went, told me that I might need to start some interval and core training. He is actually participating in a local news health program where two teams square off to see who can lose the most weight. He’s done the program once before and had a ton of success.
For the interval part he told me to run as fast as I could on the treadmill for about 30 seconds and then slow it down to a powerwalk pace for 30 seconds and then speed it up as fast as my legs will carry me for 30 seconds and then slow it down and on and on. Recommending that I do this for about 15 minutes each day after my 3.1 mile workout. I guess this will help speed up the ole metabolism. Won’t hurt!
So I was feeling pretty dehydrated and today I drank about five bottles of 16.9 fl oz Dasani water. So that’s close to 5 1/2 pounds of water. I should be pretty well hydrated by tomorrow. Lunch was half of this container of mayo-free coleslaw
I didn’t do a lick of exercise and for dinner I went BIG with a Sonic Size Extreme Tots and water. I’m trying to squeeze in all of my prior cravings into this “Shock the System” cheat weekend. For those of you without a Sonic Drive-In in your area….these are a trough of tater tots covered in chili, onions, jalapenos, cheese and ranch. I can still smell them in my dreams!
There’s no way in heck I will be losing any weight tomorrow!
