Wow! Such neglect over here at iGet Skinny. I’m back! And guess what? I’m only down 1.5 lbs in 26 days. It HAS been for lack of trying though really. This is my current weight. I’m gonna call it 194 since it’s a hair under the limbo pole.
I’m glad I’ve had a lot of you asking me via Twitter and Facebook if I have given up on my diet blog. That was just the swift kick in the ass I needed to ask myself…..”At this point in the game, is maintenance enough?” No way! I want more! The goal is 150 NOT 194!
Let’s take a look backwards at what I’ve been putting in the ole body shall we? There’s too many days to list here so I just made a video montage of everything and boy was it a lot of crap!
The key to eating all the crap in the video was portion control. I’ve found you can eat whatever you want as long as you don’t eat a smorgasbord full of it. Portion Control IS key!
The video left off at Disney’s Beaches and Cream a few days ago so I’ll pick up from there. That was Saturday….Sunday morning I was up bright and early to head to Universal Studios for “The Ellen Show” taping. Here’s my weight…
I hit up my ole pal MickeyD’s for a small iced coffee and a southern style chicken biscuit.
I was slightly excited to be at Universal Orlando for The Ellen Show Taping =P
After Ellen we hit up Tijuana Flats for some tacos and chips. I also had an unsweet iced tea.
For dinner I had T-Bone Steak and yellow squash sauteed in butter.
Followed by a lot of homemade Toll House chocolate chip cookies.
Surprisingly enough…I did lose a lil bit of weight the next day
The next day my daughter begged me for Taco Bell. Lunch consisted of a Mexican Pizza, Nachos and a Fresco chicken soft taco with an unsweet iced tea to drink.
Then my darling baby girl bought me a Mini Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen. (portion control again, note the *mini*)
Dinner was beef stroganoff over white rice and butter sauteed cabbage with water. (on a small dessert plate)
and then a piece of scratch-made orange pound cake
Yesterday when I woke up the scale had gone down yet again.
I met up with a girlfriend of mine at BJ’s Brewhouse for lunch. I ordered chips and salsa and mini beef tacos. The tacos are real small. Like 2-3 bites each.
Then later on I snacked on toast with margarine and a few cups of coffee with sweetener.
Dinner was a bottled water and a sandwich: turkey, mayo, mustard and pickles on seedless Melba thin rye bread.
I also ate three pieces of chocolate candy (not pictured). Then this morning I woke up to almost another pound lost.
I haven’t been running either but I did do a lot of walking around Walt Disney World last month. Here’s a picture of me the other day at “The Ellen Show” taping with a friend of mine who works security. I can’t believe how far I’ve come since January 1st but I still have along way to go…44lbs more!
