So yesterday I got Back on the Wagon with the hard core diet after my weekend of Shocking the System. Looks like the little bit of shock might be working. Let’s hope so…cause I don’t think I am mentally prepared to handle another 1/2 month of no weight loss yo-yoing. It’s a start. Almost a 1/2 pound.
I skipped breakfast and went out on my 5K walk/run and I made it in record time!
For lunch I headed into town to get some Long John Silvers chicken planks.
My daughter shows a steer (cow) in the fair each year for 4H. After the show, the steers are sold and I had to go get the fillings for a “Buyer’s Basket” for the person that buys her steer. Here’s the basket that I made up. Can you tell I have chocolate on the brain?
I got a bit hungry between lunch and dinner and dug out the ole cole slaw fro0m the fridge. I think I took about 4 or 5 bites. I’m pretty much over it.
For dinner I cooked the family my chicken and rice, which I love, and also which I can not eat. I made myself a cheeseburger patty with pickles and mustard and had some celery and ranch dip with it. It was pretty good!
I tried to hold off for as long as I could but I gave in! I got a butt load of candy for Christmas and this Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate bar was calling my name. I had half of it after dinner. It was DELICIOUS!
Here’s praying this won’t derail my weight loss! A little chocolate never hurt anyone…right? Here’s my photo of the day.
